M.Phil in Islamic and Jurisprudence
M.Phil is one of the best programs by the department. The program is going to be completed in 2 to 5 years. The registration fee for this course is 200 rupees and cost for each half credit course is 2640 rupees. Admission requirements are that the applicant should have completed MA Islamic studies in 2nd division, but the university has explicitly stated that preference would be given to 1st degree holders.
The program will be offered in the autumn semester and the course would be offered on 1st August. A GRE type entry test will be conducted. The duration of the program is 2 years and the medium instruction is Urdu, English and Arabic.
Teaching methodology tells that program will taught through face to face, assignments and final examination.
The credit hours required for the coursework are 8 full credit courses and 24 intern credit hours
The credit hours required for the thesis are 8 full credit hour and 24 intern credit hours
There are also going to be a workshop for each course which is going to last for 1 to 2 weeks.
