A very easy answer to this phenomena is that when a person is busy in doing several activities he feels that time is moving too fast. On the contrary, if a person is free, bored and has nothing to do, he would find difficult killing time and feel as if time has stopped. But now-a-days, time is actually observed of passing too quickly. This is because if we compare lifestyles of people from old ages to ours, we will see that people from past were able to accomplish more tasks in a day compared to what we do despite taking help from fast working machinery, tools and technology.
