Engineering & technology is the main source of industrial development. Technological development was started from early 1700’s but now a day it is essential need of every person. In past the growth in industrial development was very slow because the research in engineering was very limited but with the passage of time this sector grow. The result of this improvement is that, the major part of economy in the world is directly related to innovation in technology.
Engineering has many disciplines e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering etc. But I like mechanical engineering because it is the mother of all technologies. No one industry can run without said engineering department. For example in electronic devices making factory if we distribute the work by nature then we can see that this industry involve 60 % electronic work and 40 % mechanical work.
In past manually operated machines are used for mechanical working, which consume a lot of time and precision of machines is low but now a day this technology is growing very rapidly. By using CNC machines every kind of work with high precision can be done.
At the end no engineering can be completed without the aid of mechanical engineering.
